Description
User Story (Required on creation):
Metrics data can accumulate to a substantial amount over time. With CAM-12718, a new table for task metrics was introduced that can be cleaned up automatically (history cleanup) and manually (REST and Java API) because it accumulates significantly more data than the regular metrics table. We should provide a mechanism for customers to compact or delete metrics data in a uniform way for all metrics data.
Functional Requirements (Required before implementation):
- All metrics can be compacted or removed in a uniform way (history cleanup, APIs)
- Best Case: overall metrics information is not lost, e.g. is stored in an aggregated format for a certain time period that can be aggregated with upcoming time periods (e.g. "01.01.2019-31.12.2019" with data "318" and type "unique-task-workers")
Technical Requirements (Required before implementation):
Limitations of Scope (Optional):
Hints (Optional):
- As analyzed in
CAM-12718, this could be tricky for the unique task worker metric as the number itself cannot be simply added for consecutive time periods (8 UTWs from period one may comprise the same or completely different workers than 8 UTWs of the next period)
