Description
Some of our painless scripts are quite difficult to understand and therefore to maintain. We should dedicate a short (1-2 hour) spike to see if there are any tools or techniques we can use to make this easier. Some ideas worth exploring include:
- having the scripts exist in separate dedicated files
- making use of stored functions in ES
Regardless of whether or not the above are useful, we should establish some development conventions to give us consistency across scripts for easy maintainability
