- an REST endpoint exists that provides current version out of elasticsearch or config.
- the new rest endpoint is documented
Context: Since in future we want customers to be able to patch their installations it would be nice to see which patch version is installed at the moment. If version would be not read out of database, but "filtered" into html file this patching mechanics would have to update raw JS file, which sux.
