instead of having manual/explicit maven-dependency-plugin setups to download each generator version we have a script that downloads them given the upgrade.versions property as parameter
from 2.6.0 onwards generators are downloaded using that script
the generators 2.1.0 - 2.5.0 may stay manual entries as they have special artifact names/versions
