What is the desired functionality that you are missing?
I'd like to have the opportunity to relabel variable names in the various optimize reports as a configuration option for a certain report.

Which problem are you going to solve with this functionality?

      • The common programming languages is english, but when it comes to presenting some kpi's from the productive processes some stakeholder would like to see (in my case) the german translation of them displayed.
      • The variables are too technical for Business side and it should be able to adjust them on need.
      • Variable Names are often too long, shortening them for reports would be sufficient.

It is sufficient if it can be done on a report basis not across multiple reports.
Edit occurs via a single report - but is propagated across all reports using the data source.

Open Question: Is this exclusive to visualizations OR is it everywhere that variables are displayed?
Answer: In the UI, CSV Export and analysis

This is the controller panel for Smart Panels app

Note: the backend variable name should stay consistent. This should be a friendlier alias for the UI
