We added the rolling date filter to cover the use case for completed units of time. This is close to what is generally considered to be a "relative" date filter. However, we were already using that name to describe the type that could better be described as "rolling". We therefore have ended up supporting both behaviours as expected, but the names should probably be switched round. This covers the Java classes relating to each type, as well as the value of the "type" parameter passed from the FE.
IT:
- relative and rolling date filter classes are renamed in the backend
- the frontend switches which date filter types it uses for each option to account for the changes
- API documentation is updated
