I can use BPMN Properties on a FlowNode for calculations

What is the desired functionality that you are missing?

In BPMN processes I can define Camunda Properties in the Modeler. I would like to be able to set Properties in the Modeler that show up in Optimize again.

I would like to be able to use these properties as a basis for calculations.

      For example:

I have BPMN process which has two Tasks:

      • Task A, Property Cost: 20
      • Task B, Property Cost: 30

In Optimize I can already see how often the two tasks have been executed (filter e.g. by end date of process instance).

On top of this I would like to see that Task a has Cost 20 and B Cost 30. Then I would like to be able to multiply the numer of task executions (count of flownode) with the cost property for the task.

Which problem are you going to solve with this functionality?

The functionality would help me to do cost calculations for the execution.

Currently I have to manually download the count and then do the calculations in excel which is very inefficient.

Also tracking the costs could potentially be used in some situations as a basis for Process Improvement.
