Context:
Today Dashboard Editors can configure Dashboard Filters that allow Viewers to filter all reports simultaneously.
However, in some situations, viewers would like to see a "default filtered state" on the Dashboard - instead of having to choose the appropriate filters (again and again).
There are different solutions available, e.g. one could allow Dashboard Editors to set a default filtering state. Alternatively one could allow Viewers to persist there current filtered state as the "default" state or "last active filter" and automatically persist this on a user basis.
AT:
- The dashboard editor can specify a default filter state for the dashboard
- The "Reset all" button in the view mode will reset all to the default filter
- The Share functionality includes the default filters if the "Share with current filters applied" checkbox is not checked
