      Context:
      This is a follow-up ticket for OPT-3472.

      Note that we cannot currently use composite aggregation for decision or process variable values due to them not being supported as child aggregations of filter aggregations. There is an open PR for this, but it has been stale for some time: https://github.com/elastic/elasticsearch/pull/38863. For the time being, we will focus only on migrating the variable name fetching to composite aggregations.
