Context:
With OPT-3613 we added improved the calculation of the process part. However, there are parts where we had to create a hack because Elasticsearch was missing some functionality, e.g. see here: https://github.com/camunda/camunda-optimize/pull/2263/files

Once OPT-3922 is completed, we will be able to directly access the params object.
