      Context:
      The existing tests in `UpgradeStepsIT` on the `UpdateIndexStep` step only verify the new version index exists after the step was executed but lack any asserts on expected settings and mappings.

      AT:

      • there are tests in `UpgradeStepsIT` that verify the correct application of settings and mappings on the new version index created with the `UpdateIndexStep`
