    Description

Which problem are you going to solve with this functionality?

Currently the status indicators are relatively invasive - especially in scenarios where there are multiple engines connected to Optimize the user will regular see a loading indicator showing up and disappearing on the bottom of the page. This can be annoying, especially when analyzing performance of a process. For most scenarios it is actually sufficient for the end user to know that the engines are up and Optimize is connected them. The users expects that the data is up-to-date, so showing a loading indicator is not really helpful.

What is the desired functionality that you are missing?

We could potentially only have "green" or "red" as indicators. In scenarios where the import is ongoing we could make a tooltip available when the user is interested in more detail and show e.g. "Connected to Engine x, currently importing, last import at xx.xx.2020 time". More details to be defined.
