L3 - Default Consider automatically limiting precision for average and allow users to activate more precision if needed.
For average durations numbers to ms. or less than ms are not relevant for most views.
They are very long on dashboards and confusing to users.
Testing Notes:
- create a new report with process instance view
- set the measure to the duration
- you should see at max 3 units of duration in the visualization
- Open the configuration pop over, and enable the "custom precision" option.
- Increasing/decreasing the precision should be reflected on the visualization
- disable the "custom precision"
- Change the report measure to Count
- ensure that count report do not have any precision applied by default
- Add both duration and count measures to a number report
- Ensure that duration report have at max 3 units
- Play around with it and try to find some issues or confusing behaviour
