      Context:

      Once we create dedicated instance indices per definition we will have increased the amount of indices in our ES significantly. We should re evaluate our recommendations for the heap configuration accordingly to account for the fact that now, heap needs to be adjusted in relation to how many different definitions Optimize is expected to handle.

       

      AT:

      • Evaluate hardware recommendations and update docs accordingly
      • Adjust default number of shards per instance index to 1
      • Add migration notes for above changes
