In the UI, we present groupings and potentially multiple layers of grouping. However, in the BE we typically refer to the secondary layer of grouping as a distribution. We should investigate refactoring the BE to better align with how the product is used. At the same time, we could make these groupings more flexible rather than having to have groups/distribution classes of the same types
