L3 - Default Description
- given:
- I have 8 GB ram or less on windows/mac computer
- I download the full optimize distribution
- when:
- I start optimize (including elasticsearch)
- then:
- It fails to start
- expected:
- it starts without any problems
Hint:
Elasticsearch uses to much heapspace for those systems. We should reduce the amount to 1GB. See here how to do that using the jvm options file: https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/master/setting-system-settings.html#jvm-options
