    Description

      For us to be able to determine whether or not a Zeebe instance is archiveable, we need to know whether or not the import pipelines are "ahead" of the of the last seen entity for that instance. For us to be able to determine this, the import pipelines must store timestamp information about the last imported entity it has seen

      ATs:

      • We save the last seen entity timestamp as part of the position based import index
      • These are loaded on Optimize restart so that we can make accurate archive calculations at any time
