      Customer Problem
      Many customers use OpenSearch rather than the officially supported Elasticsearch. However, with the recent war between Amazaon and Elastic, the two codebases are diverging and causing customers to be stuck in the middle.

      Scope
      Provide official support for Amazon's OpenSearch in addition to Elastic's Elasticsearch for

      • C7 customers with Optimize
      • C8 Self-Managed customers with Zeebe, Operate, and Optimize
