    Description

      Problem Definition

      User Story

      When I'm modifying my dashboard
I want to add a new report
So that I can customize my dashboard without extra steps

      Use Cases

      • Onboarding a new process
      • Modifying a multi-process dashboard

PM Notes (Customer requests, context, assumptions)

      • It takes at least 17 clicks (including 3 navigations) to add a new report to a dashboard. We should take as many steps out of this process as possible

      Solution Definition

      Solution Ideas

      • Follow the same UX as the New Alert option
      • Set defaults for the processes, versions, and tenants based on an existing report in the dashboard
      • Preferred Solution: Create a templated report, then immediately drop it into the dashboard
      • Alternate 1: Duplicate an existing report
      • Alternate 2: Add a blank report (and maybe apply template in the edit mode??)

      Metrics (if applicable)

      • Track the number of reports created directly on a dashboard
