For some time, we have the AWS compatibility job disabled due to us knowing that ITs were failing. The previous understanding was that this wouldn't cost money as the AWS ES instances were therefore not being used. However, this is not the case and infra would like to delete them as the expenditure is unnecessary. With this in mind, the Jenkins job will no longer even be runnable, so we should remove it from our pipelines, along with any associated shared library functions.

      ATs:

      • The AWS compatibility job is removed from our nightly jobs (it is currently disabled anyway)
