Process definition without instances breaks multi data source report

XMLWordPrintable

    • Not defined

Brief summary of the bug. What is it ? Where is it ?

Multi data source process report of any type.

      Steps to reproduce:

      • Create process report
      • Add data source that has running/finished instances
      • Add another data source that has no running/finished instances

      Testing Notes:

      • Deploy a definition but do not start any process instances for it
      • Build reports in Optimize and observe that the data is shown as expected
      • Use it in combination with other data sources that do have data and observe the expected results (the one with no instance should have no data, but the other should)
      • Observe data in the management reports

      Other Notes:

While this can be resolved for some reports, there might still be some unexpected behaviour in places regarding data the data shown in scenarios where some selected processes do not have any data imported

      Actual result:

      • Report says "No data"

      Expected result:

      • Data from the first report still be displayed

      hint
/evaluate returns no such index exception thrown by ES. When the process definition has no running/finished instances in the engine, the relevant optimize-process-instance doesn't exist
