Currently customer-onboarding is set to true for all C8 SaaS clusters. The data (or lack of) suggests that the added value for that data is minimal in increasing conversion. Consultants like the imported data to demo to users on C8 SaaS. If this has value for customers, it is most likely for trial customers. - The importing of the onboarding data should be disabled by default on C8 SaaS for non-trial and non-internal clusers, as it can cause some problems in startup, since Optimize cant start until the data is imported (
OPT-6223) - It requires special handling to do things like omitting from history cleanup
- The dates are partly fixed (and can be old) so it might not be so valuable to customers
Testing Notes:
- new clusters for non-internal and non-trial accounts should no longer have the customer onboarding data included on start up
