As a troubleshooter
I want to inspect the current import state
So that I can root trace data visibility issues
Use Cases
It can happen that imports for certain entities fail/take longer than expected so that Optimize will show weird data (process instances without activities or variables for example).
In such cases, it might be useful to not having to search the stacktrace for some kind of errors rather than inspecting the import engine to see:
- from which timeframes the entries in the import queue reside
- state of the active import round(s)
- state of the import job executor
- whether there are errors that block importing of entities
These information could then be polled and served via REST and Prometheus. Currently, I do not see the need to create a UI for this.
