      Motivation:

      The current freestyle jobs are legacy features of Jenkins. Maintaining and understanding the build triggers (what triggers what) is rather hard. Sharing state between builds is hard (needed for PR builds)

      Gain:

      • Independence for developers to extend the ci
      • Better overview of the job structure
      • Potentially improve usage of artifacts in the test jobs
