• Multiple process definition versions of a mutual process definition exist
• For each of these versions at least one process instance exists
• Each of the process definitions have equally named symbols, here called modification targets

When

• In Modify View
  • A cockpit user plans the modification
  • and start before or start after is set to a modification target
  • she clicks "select instances

Then

• In Process Instance Selection View
  • she can select instances from all versions that have the modification target defined.
• after submitting the batch operation
  • the modification is applied to all process instances
