    Description

      User story

When monitoring, diagnosing and tuning the performance of my Process Engine deployment, I want to have access to key performance metrics so that I can iteratively improve the performance.

      Background

When using the Process Engine heavily, the database performance can become the bottleneck. By having an easy to use feedback loop from within Cockpit, it becomes easier to monitor the performance and resolve issues and bottlenecks.

The following queries and metrics have been suggested

      https://github.com/camunda-consulting/code/tree/master/snippets/db-queries-for-monitoring#many-metrics-in-one-query

      Acceptance criteria

      **Minimum

      • I can run a query that gives me insights into key performance metrics of the Job Executor from within Cockpit - without having to execute a raw SQL script.

      Ideally

      • I can choose which scripts to run
      • Ideally, the metrics will be shown in a raw and visual format so that it becomes easy to draw insights from.
