  • adjust parent version in examples and its submodules to the release version (without SNAPHOT) to create a proper release source ZIP
  • adjust version to release version (without SNAPSHOT) in the README
  • (optional) adjust the Travis environments in the .travis.yml to the latest Camunda versions, if the release is due to a new Camunda version
• Done with the release job:
  • bump Camunda version in pom.xml
• After running the release job:
  • adjust the parent version to the next SNAPSHOT in the examples and its submodules
  • adjust compatibility matrix
  • adjust Assert version in https://docs.camunda.org/manual/develop/user-guide/testing/#camunda-assertions
