Environment (Required on creation): 7.16.0
Description (Required on creation; please attach any relevant screenshots, stacktraces, log files, etc. to the ticket):
- instantiate a process, advance token to a user task
- log in to tasklist, note the task
- Use the REST API to claim it, then refresh the tasklist UI
- notice that it is now claimed, but now click the "History" tab in the task UI. Notice that there is no entry.

Please advise if I made a mistake that I can pass on to the partner that made me aware of this (Ernst and Young).
Looks like the partner figured out the root cause. See below. You can choose what to do with the ticket, but I am no longer blocked.
