    Description

      User Story:

I want to be able to see tokens for activities that have been executed in previous process definitions on the process instance view after migrating instances.

      Background:

Tokens are only displayed for the latest running process definition version. This has been changed in 7.11.7 by adding the statistics query.

Customers are having troubles determining which activities have been executed after processes have been migrated. Mapping multiple process definitions into a single overlay appears to be a difficult task, as there may be no clear guideline for dealing with activities that have been deleted, renamed, or changed type.

As a result, having the ability to switch definition versions while in the history of a process instance, i.e. having the same behavior as on the process definition view, would be acceptable.

      Functional Requirements (Required before implementation):

      • A user can determine which activities have been executed in previous versions of the process

      Technical Requirements (Required before implementation):

      Limitations of Scope (Optional):

      Hints (optional):

      • Switching definition version as in process definition view
