      Description

      Problem description:

      • camunda:inputOutput mappings are not working for multi instance Tasks / subprocesses etc...

      AT:

      • input mappings are evaluated per instance of the multi instance construct
      • output mappings on MI tasks result in a parser exception since end invocations (like execution listeners, see CAM-2787) are generally broken for MI at the moment. Furthermore, the expected behavior of output mappings for MI tasks is not clear. For example, values are overwritten when the output mapping is executed with every finished MI instance.
      • docs state that only input mappings are allowed for MI and also give the reason why
