    Description

      AT:

      • target audience: developers upgrading their applications; admins upgrading an existing installation
      • migration guide exists
      • new WAS installation included
      • new index introduced in 7.1.5 is included (ensure that users use the 7.1.5 upgrade patch if they are currently below the patched version; check if patch is distributed with our distros)
      • CMMN engine (how can i migrate without/with CMMN? i.e. what do I need to do to never see any CMMN table, how do I have to configure the engine?)
      • embedded task forms (How do I have to change my forms to have them working with the new tasklist?)
      • cockpit plugins due to angular upgrade
      • process applications in different scenarios (embedded, shared engine, different runtime containers): Exact steps what needs to be done (server restart, dependencies, libraries, etc)
      • Spin/Connect from a user's perspective who migrates. Explain their purpose, link to docs. Warn that sometimes (e.g. Websphere) Spin/Connect are automatically active if the default engine configuration location is not overridden
      • add hint on LDAP Caching

Please discuss with Daniel or Robert

      • Are the new DB tables of CMMN optional?
