Description
Inputs, selects and textareas are the most common ways to provide editing capabilities but adding the contenteditable attribute to an HTML element can also let the user change the content of the element.
This could be really helpful, especially for the styling and integration, in the context of a complex UI like the DMN decision table.
It should be made clear what that solution could bring and what would be missing (in comparison with standard form elements).
- Which events are triggered when editing?
- How to deal with the values?
- Which browsers do support that feature?
- How can the interaction (mouse / keyboard) be handled?
