Shared authentication or SSO is a fairly frequent requirement for enterprise applications, and would be a very useful feature for the Camunda web apps (particularly task list).

One way of making this more feasible would be to integrate the web apps with Spring Security, which facilitates integration with many authentication mechanisms (CAS, Kerberos, SAML, OAuth, ...)
