When creating a call activity, there is no tab "Input/Output" to define a camunda:inputOutput element. Instead, only call activity input/output parameters can be defined (camunda:in, camunda:out).
It should be possible to define camunda:inputOutput for call activities to support use cases such as described in CAM-4516.
