Currently the progress bar on the batch page is showing to numbers: completed/remaining jobs. At the start of a bigger batch the remaining jobs is the only one visible. So the progress is decreasing during the beginning of the batch.
As user it was firstly a little bit strange to see a decreasing number as progress. 
Maybe it is a personal preference. But maybe a percentage or completed/total would be better.
