We currently have no integration testing process for REST API methods that are not used by the web applications. There are certain aspects of interaction between engine-rest and engine that are not covered by the unit tests since the engine-rest tests mock the engine. In consequence, we cannot find regressions that have their origin in the combined behavior of engine and engine-rest. The most recent example is CAM-6139.

Ideally, we have an automated test suite for such methods (e.g. as part of webapps integration). As an alternative, we could test this manually.
