since setting up a camunda spring boot project is as easy as adding a dependency (plus an h2 db) to your favorite build tool and annotate the springBootApplication with EnableProcessApplication, I really do not see how an archetype would make my life any simplier .... but it will require constant updates to remain useful.

So I'd say: close this.

actually from what I see, we have an archetype here: https://app.camunda.com/nexus/content/repositories/camunda-bpm/org/camunda/bpm/archetype/camunda-archetype-spring-boot/

May be we should document it somewhere
