The documentation for the "Activity Instance state" query parameters in the History Activity Instance REST query enpoints (GET/POST) does not clearly define what is the "default behaviour" - i.e. when an activity instance state parameter is not defined.

The state query parameters should clearly define what happens when they are set, and, when they are not.
