It is documented, that when the Spring Boot Starter property exists for some Camunda configuration parameter, it should be preferred (via application.yml) over the programmatic definition of the same parameter directly on ProcessEngineConfiguration instance.
It is documented, that in v. 3.0.0 jdbcBatchProcessing property was added: both in Configuration chapter and in Upgrade guide.
It is documented, how the generic Camunda engine configuration parameters can be defined via application.yml
