      • in the filter section of the user guide, I can read about:
        • what are filters for
        • a screenshot/ video on how to apply filters
        • how to combine filters
        • all the filter types:
          • what is a running/completed filter
          • start date:
          • what is a fixed date range with information about shortcut buttons, duration and the date picker
          • what is a relative date
          • what is a duration filter
          • what is a flow node filter and how to select nodes
          • variable filter:
            • how to see the list of variables names
            • how to add filter for boolean variables
            • how to add afilter for string variable and how to load more. What is the relationship between is/is not and picking several values
            • how to add a filter for numeric variables and the different operation options

            [OPT-1163] Document the filter

            • Typo "deparment" should be "department"

            Some suggestions:

            • "Note: this filter also eliminates all running process instances, since it is only possible to regard the total duration for completed process instances." sounds more dangerous than it is. I would write "Note: This filter shows only completed process instances, since the total duration of running process instances is not yet known."
            • Should we describe how the "is not", "is less than" and "is greater than" works with multiple values for numeric variables?

            Johannes added a comment -

The "is less/greater than" options have an interesting behavior: only the the first value is considered and all other values are ignored. We should allow to define only one value for those options. I created OPT-1207 for that.
