For process/decision report edit mode and branch analysis:
- Variable filters are not removed when changing definition/version
- If the variable does not exist with the current definition/version, the following changes will happen on the filter preview in the control panel:
- A red warning appears below the preview which indicates that the variable does not exist
- Editing the variable filter by clicking on the preview is not possible. (The filter cannot be edited, but it can be removed)
- For decision reports only, names of the variables will be lost by changing the definition, therefore, we display "Missing variable" in place of the variable name (see attached image)
- The red warning will also appear on saved reports in the following cases:
- Clicking on applied filters in report view mode (even in shared reports)
- Clicking on filter icon of the report inside a dashboard (even in shared reports)
Not in scope:
- Keeping flow node / assignee filters
- keeping dashboard variable filters when editing the definition of one of its reports
