Goal:
Make grouping data easier.
Rather than displaying a distribution option, we allow several levels of grouping.
First iteration only allows primary and secondary grouping.
Primary group by = displays groups along the x axis
Secondary group by = adds an additional level of grouping - displayed in the legends
Detail:
• Where a group by option is optional - the select is removable. (No 'none' option)
• Where a group by option must exist (ie, User Task view) the Option is non removable.
• If a primary and secondary grouping exists, the removal of a primary - propels the previously secondary option into the primary. - The report updates.
• If multiple process definitions exist, the distribute by process option is available in both the group by options, (if one is set, the other is disabled in the menu option)
Note:
Stammy mentioned that it may not be intuitive to have an empty group by option and would prefer to continue with the 'none' selection we currently use. - could build it as his preference and test, at least, within the team.
