L3 - Default What is the desired functionality that you are missing?
Allow users to log-in into Optimize without a Camunda Engine being present but integrating with the authentication mechanism used in Camunda Cloud.
Which problem are you going to solve with this functionality?
When Optimize is connected with the Zeebe Runtime Engine in CC we will not have the Camunda Platform Runtime Engine available for authentication and authorization. In the long run we want to integrate with Shared Service - in the midterm we need something simple so user(s) can log in to Optimize.
Context:
We can check how Operate handles this right now as this will require integrating with IAM at least for the purpose of authentication. Alternatively we could also offer a pure static user config via a stored user configuration.
