XMLWordPrintable

      User story

As a customer, I want to orchestrate RPA bots as part of my BPMN process so that I achieve robust end to end process automation.

      Background

We have committed to building a Bridge component in order to allow customers to orchestrate and monitor their RPA bots.

This ticket and its sub-tasks are intended to capture the latest decisions and initiatives we are making.

      AC

      • As a customer,
        • I can orchestrate UI Path RPA bots as part of my BPMN processes, this includes the ability to:
          • Orchestrate bots and handle payloads,
            • in a specific order
            • from multiple BPMN process
          • Handle errors and raise incidents,
          • Monitor the performance of bots according to the external task pattern.
      • We aim to provide customer enablement in the form of documentation and a tutorial as part of the release.

      • As the Camunda product, CSM, support and consulting team:
        • We are enabled to support customers in adopting the Bridge to orchestrate UI Path RPA bots with Camunda
        • We can measure the adoption of Bridge and evaluate
          • throughput: Number of bots started, failed and completed
          • See if bots and variables are reused across ETCs and processes
