      Problem Definition

      User Story

      As a process owner
      I want to claim a process
      So that people know the point of contact/ DRI

      PM Notes (Customer requests, context, assumptions)

      • When many processes have been automated, there are likely multiple individuals responsible across the whole portfolio of processes. It takes additional effort to figure out whom to talk to about a given process.
      • In the future, we will integrate this with Modeler and pull from the same database. In the short term, we can hold this separately.

      User Scenario

      NAVIGATION

      GIVEN I am viewing a list of processes
      (MH) AND I have edit permissions for Optimize (user)
      (MH) AND I have access to a given process
      (MH) THEN an option to enter a process owner is provided
      (MH) AND I may select any Optimize user
      (SH) AND the user must have access to the process

      SET PROCESS OWNER
      WHEN a process owner is set
      AND process goal alerts are present
      (SH) THEN the process owner is added to the process's goal alerts email list

      REMOVE PROCESS OWNER
      WHEN a process owner is removed
      AND process goal alerts are present
      (SH) THEN the old process owner is removed from the process's goal alerts email list

      • (MH) Number of times a process owner has been assigned OR
      • (NTH) Count of processes with a process owner
